Senior Pictures Hazard, KY with Hannah Akers
Go Behind the Scenes with Pikeville High School Class of 2022 with Hannah Akers!
When Hannah walked into my studio I knew we were going to have fun! First of all, I had photographed her sister a few years back so I remembered the kind of energy these girls bring to a photo shoot!
Hannah had ideas of a few things she wanted to incorporate like her guitar, jeep, and water, but she gave me full freedom on the locations. This is why, when I saw her adorable plaid shirt, I had the perfect location in mind . . . "Save a Lot" parking lot!!!!!!!!!! Hey, if a pretty girl can make all those broken down boxes look gorgeous you know you are on to something special . . . We started at an Taulbee's Music Store and ended the night in the North Fork of the Kentucky River.
Here are some of our favorites!
Hannah will further her education at Eastern Kentucky University in the fall of 2022.
Her favorite moment in High School was winning the 15th Region All-A Volleyball Tournament and advancing to the Elite 8 in State!
"What I will miss most about high school will be the friends that I have and how close we are. Also the teachers I have grown close too."
"I came to you for senior pictures because I have seen your work for years and absolutely love it. You have the best quality photos, fun picture ideas, everyone’s pictures are different, and you took my sisters pictures and I absolutely loved them and knew I wanted you to take mine."
I was curious about the pageants Hannah enters . . .
"I began doing pageants this year after my mom and her friend spending years trying to convince me. Pageants are really new to me and I have always fell more on the tom boy side so I never thought I would like pageants but I have learned to love them. I’ve made many new friends, it forces me to come out of my comfort zone, and I love the atmosphere."
Good Luck in all things Hannah!
