With every new season of Senior girls, there comes along ONE who truly has no idea how beautiful she is. I find these young ladies a particularly fun challenge to photograph!
Emily Ford was this girl for my Senior Class of 2022 seniors. She came in shy, not sure how the day would unfold, unsure about if this was really her idea of fun, and not sure if she could handle a camera pointed at her for the next 3 hours.
All that being said, we became fast friends, I did my best to put her at ease, and she had so much fun she even came back for a fall session in December! I think we did a pretty good job Emily! Here are some of our favorites.
Here's what Emily had to say about choosing SDP, "I chose Suzanne Deaton Photography truly for her talent! Since I was a little girl I knew I wanted Suzanne to take my pictures. I loved how Suzanne had her own ideas to make my pictures unique but also took my ideas into consideration. I personally struggle with posing in front of a camera but Suzanne helped me step out of my comfort zone and for me to just be me! She made sure the day was all about me and we had fun picking out locations! Suzanne has an amazing talent and I’m so happy I chose Suzanne Deaton Photography for my senior pictures!"
Emily is a star softball player at Pikeville High School. If you want to see her control the mound and break records, attend her first game at Pike Central on March 21, 2022. Emily will attend University of Virginia at Wise next fall where she will study nursing while she's not busy with softball!!!!!!!!!!!
