BEHIND THE SCENES
Charity has been in front of my lens since she was a little girl. It's sad to think about that sweet face and her beautiful, deep, soulful eyes, but, I have LOVED watching her grow into a gorgeous, young lady!
We knew we wanted to incorporate Charity's love of the surroundings of Eastern Kentucky and some water element.Â
My favorite part of her session was when we pulled off on the side of the road in Leslie County at a random barn and got chased by dogs. :).Â
Come to think of it, we were in danger for much of the shoot. I remember her mom, Patty picking up a "SNAKE STICK".Â
If you live in the mountains like we do and shoot in the woods, creeks, and rocks, snake sticks are important.Â
I once photographed a senior who laid down on a wall and kicked her boots up, only to have a snake wrapped around each boot. Â
I RAN, and she, just got up and kicked them off! YeeeeeHawwww! Â

Charity plans to attend Alice Lloyd College with a major in Biology while fulfilling her lifelong dream of playing collegiate volleyball. She will then go on the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and obtain a Physician's Assistant Degree.Â
"From the time I was 2 years old, Suzanne has been my photographer. I was a rambunctious little girl so Suzanne would capture moments of me exploring nature. Outdoor settings are my favorite but I also wanted to incorporate more professional studio shots for my senior pictures. Suzanne is a versatile photographer who can capture your best look from the studio to the dirt path. My favorite and most memorable part of my session is hiking to the last location of my shoot, the falls! Suzanne is such a fun and energetic person who is up for any adventure!! She made my senior pictures so special. I’m truly thankful to have her as my photographer, throughout my life and years to come!!"
